PRI Recap: World Challenge + New Racing Caliper Preview

The StopTech crew is back from Florida. Another Professional Racing Industry (PRI) trade show is in the books. The annual event is billed as the busiest professional race marketplace on Earth, and by all reports they are right.

StopTech set up shop at event once again, which should come as no surprise considering the company's unyielding dedication and success in the production-based racing vehicle circles.

This year StopTech rolled in with a big piece of news plus an early look at an underground project that is coming to fruition.

First up was the news that StopTech has been named the Official Brake System of the World Challenge Championships. The World Challenge races are not only fan favorites but are a true proving ground for production based racing cars. The StopTech World Challenge Porsche GT3 Cup Car has been a regular fixture on the series for several years, plus teams such as GMG Racing, find their way to the winner circle on StopTech brakes.

Visitors to StopTech's PRI booth got their first look at the StopTech GT Racing Caliper, which made an underground debut last week to rave reviews at the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. An official announcement about this enduro-focused addition to the growing StopTech racing product line is expected early in the new year.
