StopTech Releases Big Brake Kits for BMW X5 and X6 Models

StopTech,  the ultra-performance division of Centric Parts, has introduced front and rear Big Brake Kits for a range of BMW X5 and BMW X6 crossovers.  StopTech Big Brake Kits provide shorter stopping distances, better brake modulation, firmer pedal feel and less brake fade resulting in stronger, more reliable performance on and off the track.

The StopTech Big Brake Kits are now available for a wide selection BMW X5 and BMW X6 vehicles from t2007-2011 model years including the 3.0si, xDrive30i, xDrive35d, X5 4.8i, xDrive48i, 3.5dX, 35iX iterations of the BMW X5 plus the 35iX and xDrive35i versions of the X6.

The Big Brake Kits for the BMW X5 or X6 comes with a pair of 380X32 slotted or drilled floating directional AeroRotors featuring billet aluminum mounting brackets with stainless steel studs, DOT-compliant stainless steel braided Teflon brake lines, StopTech's highly-praised high performance street pads plus the company's patented, forged, high performance, six-piston ST-60 calipers.

BMW refers to their X5 as a Sports Activity Vehicle and the X6 as a Sports Activity Coupe.  The former was introduced in 1999 and developed when the company still owned Land Rover.  The latter was released for sale in the second quarter of 2008 and is slightly longer and wider than its predecessor.
