You can read the official press release on the Centric Parts site, but the StopTech blog is taking a moment to congratulate Stephen Ruiz on his AWD Street and Overall Street victories at the 2010 season opener of the Redline Time Attack series in Buttonwillow.
Stephen Ruiz was piloting a StopTech 2008 Mitsubishi Evo X, which already has prior successes but just became part of Team StopTech for this season. What a debut!
Steven, who already has made a name for himself with his driving skills, also happens to be the son of Steve Ruiz, StopTech's Director of Engineering and the lead engineer for GMG Racing's SCCA efforts.
That's a fast family!
