One of the nation's premiere annual racing events, the Grand Prix of Long Beach, is coming to StopTech's backyard in Southern California this weekend. StopTech brakes will be evident throughout the three day event.
The pace cars for the Indy Racing League event, one of several races that will take place on the streets of Long Beach, will be sporting StopTech brakes. The same is true for each of the identically equipped Scions driven by the pros and the stars for the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race, which was won last year by returning driver and superstar Keanu Reeves.
The weekend wraps up with Round Three of the 2010 SCCA World Challenge Series, which features several StopTech equipped vehicles. These include the pair of GMG Racing Porsches driven by returning Long Beach Grand Prix champion James Sofronas and his teammate, StopTech CEO Dino Crescentini, who rolls into Long Beach after taking the checkered flag at the previous SCCA round in Florida.
StopTech equipped cars will also be found on the floor of the lifestyle expo.
So if you live in or happen to find yourself in Southern California this weekend, come on down for some world class racing on world class brakes. For more info on the 2010 Grand Prix of Long Beach, visit http://www.gplb.com/.
